Day Four - New Arrivals

Today we went for the usual 9:00 am snorkel but the water was choppy so we just ended up bobbing alongside Granddad for a while. Afterwards, Jessi and I joined Mom (Gaby), Dad (Richard) and Granddad for lunch at Seascapes restaurant in Ma'alea. It's the restaurant that's attached to the Maui Ocean Center (an aquarium) and it has a big tank with sharks and all sorts of fish that we sat beside. On our way out we discovered a store called Da Beach House. There I found some fantastic Croc brand sandals and some traditional Crocs. The sandals are fantastic and fit like a glove and the crocs are very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. Jessi and Gaby also bought some Crocs.

We got some little pins for my Crocs. A turtle and a gecko.

After we got back, Tony, Jessi, Sally and I went to Hilo Hatties which is a cute touristy store which has some very good store brands. I found some nice Hawaiian shirts and we bout a whole slew of delicious macadamia nut brittle. YUM!

Dad (Richard) and I drove to Kahalui to greet Jeff and Laura at around 8pm. We were worried that they might not be able to get their rental car tonight since the rental place closed shortly after they arrived but they got there just in the nick of time! Now the whole family is here and it feels good to have everyone around.
